Working together

Coaching and mentoring, paced to your nervous system.

Twelve sessions. One Zoom screen or one chateau room. Two modes in the same hour — whichever one the day in front of us actually needs.

What this is

One-to-one work, for two kinds of journey that turn out to be the same journey.

Some people arrive because something inside needs attention — a nervous system running hot, a practice that never quite lands, a spiritual tradition that asked them to perform devotion instead of feel anything. Others arrive because something outside is about to change — a company to found, a country to move to, a family to rearrange, a life to rebuild on different terms.

In my experience these are rarely separate problems. The move you cannot make and the feeling you cannot sit with are usually holding hands. So this is one container, and we use whichever tool the hour calls for.

Two modes, one hour

Mentoring

Teaches tools, invites reflection, and tailors strategies. You leave with something to practise.

Coaching

Listens deeply and reflects back where you are and the strengths you already hold — so you can see more clearly how to move toward what matters.

The same hour can hold either mode, and most hours hold both. We choose what is most useful that day rather than deciding in advance what kind of appointment this is.

One thing that does not change: I do not give you answers, only support. That would be to deprive you of all the fun of building your own story.

What people bring

The subject matter runs across both modes. Some of the ground I know well:

  • Nervous-system regulation and self-awareness — the practical, body-first work that the rest of this site is about.
  • Founding and running things — three businesses, two of them sold, and the particular loneliness of the decision only you can make.
  • Migration and big moves — four countries, three of them chosen. The logistics are the easy part.
  • Neurodiversity — your own, or your child’s, and the accommodation that has to happen in both directions.
  • Homeschooling and education — the daily curriculum, and what it costs the parent running it.
  • Living your values — when the honest answer to “is this the life I meant to build?” is not quite.

What we do with it: get clear on what you actually want rather than what you think you should want. Cultivate your gut instincts — when there is no logical right path, and sometimes in spite of there being one. Validate the messy, contradictory material, because humans are complex. Tackle the unglamorous details. Turn an idea into something that exists.

How it works

The container is twelve sessions, minimum. That is not a sales structure; it is roughly how long it takes for anything to change and stay changed.

Two cadences. Choose the rhythm that matches your bandwidth.

  • Intensive — weekly. For periods of acute change or focused work.
  • Paced — fortnightly. Time to integrate between sessions, while keeping enough continuity to build momentum.

Who this is for

  • People with nervous systems that don’t sit still for one-size-fits-all approaches.
  • Neurodiverse adults who have been failed by spiritual environments that rely on unspoken norms, vague language, or performance of devotion.
  • Parents of ADHD or neurodiverse children who want their own regulation practice while they support their kids’.
  • Founders, movers and rebuilders standing at the edge of something, who need a neutral partner rather than an opinion.
  • Anyone tired of dogma and ready for an empirical guide to the ancient technologies of sacred connection.

You do not need to know your Track before we begin. You do not need to have read the book. You do not need to have a practice. You need to be willing to show up — and to let stopping not count as losing.

In their words

By asking artfully crafted questions, Monique led me to discover my own answers. I had no idea that the wisdom was there, waiting to be uncovered.

Speaking to you yesterday has given me immense direction. Just being able to say things aloud about this new business is a cathartic experience.
